For companies
Let's discuss biomass and a research pilot for your task
We start with your task and the material you are prepared to purchase. We are assessing needs for biomass for processing and product development. If you only need a ready-made extract or a purified substance, please say so separately: whether such a result is possible requires a separate assessment.
Demand research areas
Which components and characteristics do you need
Fucoxanthin
We are studying requirements for biomass as a raw material for fucoxanthin. Tell us about the content you need, the form of the material and your processing route.
Describe your needPhycocyanin
We are studying requirements for raw material for this blue pigment. Do you need biomass for processing or a ready-made colorant? Tell us the form and conditions of use.
Describe your taskPhycoerythrin
We are studying requirements for raw material and development of this pigment, including for research purposes. We will clarify the type of material and its analytical characteristics.
Discuss requirementsAnother task for biomass
Let's discuss composition requirements for your formulation or aquaculture process.
Describe your task
These are demand research areas, not a catalog of finished products. Ready-made extracts and purified substances are not automatically part of the offer. For a specific material, composition, analyses and conditions of use are agreed individually.
The field of application is chosen independently: formulation, extraction, aquaculture, research.
Fields of application
Where the material may be used
Functional food and supplements
Choose an ingredient format, define mandatory parameters and documents, assess stability and an indicative price.
Learn moreCosmetics
Assess the raw material as a source of active components and collect safety and stability data for formulation development.
Learn moreExtraction and ingredients
Define requirements for target substance content, moisture, drying method and raw material volume for processing.
Learn moreFeed and aquaculture
Assess nutritional value and safety, agree on the form and volume for feeding trials.
Learn moreResearch organizations
Discuss a joint task: culture verification, analytical methods, regime development or a pilot run.

Possible deliverables
What a company may receive at the end of a project
Transfer of technology, live cultures or internal production data is not part of the basic format. These matters are governed by a separate contract and the rights available.
- An agreed technical specification
- A description of the verified regime to the extent provided for in the contract
- An experimental batch, where readiness and legal grounds are in place
- A passport of the specific batch
- Protocols of agreed analyses
- A test results report
- A conclusion on suitability and the next scale-up step
Stages of a research pilot

How the material is selected
From composition requirements to a confirmed batch
The composition and origin of the selected material are recorded in the documentation. Characteristics are confirmed for a specific batch.
- 01
Composition requirements
We record the substance or characteristic needed, its content, form and application.
- 02
Selecting biomass
We identify a suitable material and check the presence of the component, its origin and conditions of use.
- 03
Assessing processing
We clarify who extracts the component and what output product is required. Biomass, an extract and a purified pigment are not interchangeable.
- 04
Batch confirmation
Composition, parameters, methods and storage conditions are recorded for a specific batch; a publication about the species does not replace them.
- 05
Scientific basis
Documented cultures and publications are presented in the Science section; they are not a catalog of ready supplies.
Customer package
What the package of materials may include
May include
- Technical specification and test program
- Samples of the agreed batch and form
- Batch passport: material identification, number, date, mass, moisture or dry residue, measured parameters, storage conditions
- Protocols of agreed analyses
- Final report with a conclusion on the next stage
Not included in the basic package
- Live seed culture
- Medium recipe and exact cultivation regimes
- Production logs, drawings and primary internal data
- Production cost and internal process economics
Limits of the current stage
An honest account of our readiness
We are currently assessing demand and collecting requirements. We do not accept supply orders and do not promise to provide samples. An experimental batch is prepared only after the technical specification is agreed and the readiness of the process and the legal grounds for working with the specific culture are confirmed.
- Interest in evaluating a sample expressed in the survey does not create an obligation to provide one
- Published scientific data are not carried over to a future batch without that batch's own analyses
- Laboratory, pilot and production scales are labelled separately
Describe your company's requirements
Four steps, about 10 minutes. No registration needed.
